Humpty Dumpty sat on a…

Wait a minute… this is OUR story.

With 2.5 decades of building experience, we were inspired to jump-in (with both feet) to help shape the new building industry. UnitiWall founders bring decades of experience in traditional and evolving building techniques, we’ve been witness to – and instigated – giant leaps, brilliant insights, and clever innovations.

We’re not suggesting that codes haven’t improved, they have. And it’s not that new technologies don’t emerge, they do. But what we’ve seen, is that the basic process of constructing a big building just hasn’t changed enough for the industry to overcome the carbon (and sustainability) cloud that hangs over it.

Philosophy, Mission, Vision.

It has been suggested that sharing our philosophy, mission, and vision would provide insight into our company and, ultimately, that’s what this website is all about.

So, here goes, our one-word philosophy/mission/vision:

Better.

And the 20-word version goes like this:

Our philosophy is to do better.
Our mission is to build better.
Our vision is to leave the world (any guesses?) better.

There is, of course, complexity behind all that, but the sentiment is simple. We want (and the world needs) better.
The mindset that inspired the development of UnitiWall, has been to approach product development as an exercise in problem solving. And, as you wander through the website, you’ll see that every facet, every layer, and every insight featured in our UnitiWall panels, solves a problem… or three.

The result is an engineered, precision building system that reduces energy use, improves installation efficiency, is a game-changer for installation safety, offers total-design flexibility, includes the work of half a dozen trades built-in, and can reduce production timetables by as much as 80%.

And we haven’t even mentioned the bridge-free Thermal Plenum that makes it all possible. (More on that here.)

Our approach.

We work to squeeze every bit of efficiency out of existing technology; we aim to leave no building science insight unrealized; and we market an all-round better way to build a building.

Throughout this site, you’ll read about R and U-values, heat loss, rain screens, insulation, cladding, architecture, design, engineering, and more. And they all offer answers to the question, “How?” While simply, “To be and do better.”, is our answer to “Why?”

UnitiWall’s Approach to Sustainability

In a world full of possibilities, wonder and choice marred greatly by fear and the climate crisis, UnitiWall has chosen to avoid sustainability jargon and greenwashing and provide pure transparency: the great, the good, the bad and the sometimes ugly truth. We hope that, with this knowledge, you can choose for yourself the best approach for your project. Nothing is perfect, but the truth is powerful.

This is why we have chosen to pursue labelling that validates our building components and content so you can make the best decisions for you, your projects and the people who occupy them.
