Project update on the Academic Wood Tower

We are delighted to be getting closer to seeing our wall panels enclosing one of the most innovative and prestigious projects currently underway in Canada: the Academic Wood Tower at the University of Toronto.
Designed by Patkau Architects in partnership with MacLennan Jaunkalns Miller Architects and built by Pomerleau Building Construction, the Academic Wood Tower will be one of the tallest mass timber and concrete hybrid buildings in North America. The structure will rise above the existing Goldring Centre, whose concrete and steel foundations, basement and first floors were pre-designed to support a second structure.
As we finalize the design assist phase and complete performance testing, demolition and site preparation commences on site.
